FM Global CIO Ranked in Top 10
Sanjay Chawla ranked by <em>Chief Investment Officer</em> as one of the most influential CIOs
FM Global's Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer, Sanjay Chawla, has been named by Chief Investment Officer as ranking among the 10 most influential corporate CIOs worldwide. Criteria for recognition included industry influence, innovation, collaboration and talent development.
He also ranks among Chief Investment Officer’s Power 100 list of asset owners who “have distinguished themselves in navigating a changing, and often perilous, market landscape.”
Chawla says of his success as a CIO, “I believe in being laser focused on adding value, ingrained in monitoring the financial markets and having the experience and ability to take action at the right time and the right quantum.
“It’s also about having the utmost diligence, a strong work ethic, a strong track record—both quantitative and qualitative—and maintaining a clear understanding of what is best for the portfolios we manage and the respective stakeholders and beneficiaries.”
Chawla joined FM Global as its chief investment officer in March 2018. Prior to that, he was vice president and chief investment officer at Raytheon Company.
