Philip Johnson

Philip Johnson is senior vice president and chief learning officer of FM Global. In this role, Johnson leads the FM Global Academy, which delivers the learning and development needs of FM Global’s clients and employees. He is responsible for leadership development, employee development and the training of clients and broker partners. He is based in London, U.K.

Prior to his current role, Johnson, a nearly 30-year veteran of the company, served as senior vice president, EMEA division manager.

Since joining FM Global in 1995 as a consultant engineer, Johnson has served in a number of functions, including client service, engineering, business process improvement and operations. He has also worked on nuclear power station design and held project management roles in large infrastructure projects across Europe.

Johnson holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, U.K., and completed postgraduate studies at Luxembourg School of Business.
