Lyndon D. Broad

Lyndon D. Broad is senior vice president of underwriting and reinsurance at FM Global, based in the company’s corporate offices in Johnston, Rhode Island, USA. In this role, he manages the company’s overall underwriting and reinsurance functions. Prior to his current appointment, Broad held several managerial positions, including vice president and operations manager for Australia and then Boston operations.

For over 29 years, Broad has worked with FM Global clients in many industries and in a wide variety of roles. Broad began his career in 1995, joining the company as a resident engineer in Brisbane, Australia, and has since worked in claims and operations management roles in Australia, Asia, the U.K. and the United States.

Broad holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Swinburne University, Melbourne, Australia, and a diploma of business in loss adjusting from the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).
