FM Global has proudly entered its first major sports sponsorship—with the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA). This five-year sponsorship represents a strategic partnership between two organizations that share a vision of enacting positive change. The newly created FM Global Championship will feature a field of 144 players competing for a US$3.5 million purse, one of the largest purses on the LPGA Tour and the largest prize fund on the Tour outside of the majors and tour championship.

Committed to the Advancement of Women and STEM

The length and breadth of this commitment allow us to build momentum in support of programs that enable women and the next generation of students to pursue education and careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), which is the backbone of how FM Global protects today for a better tomorrow.

FM Global Sponsors LPGA Star Megan Khang

Megan Khang, a top-ranked American golfer playing on the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) tour, exemplifies mutual partnership and strives for resilience and success, cornerstones of FM Global's relationships. The company is sponsoring Khang for the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

Khang was born near Boston, Massachusetts, in 1997 to Hmong and Laotian parents who, in the 1970s were refugees from the Vietnam War. Her mother, Nou, taught kindergarten, and her father, Lee, an avid golfer, worked as a professional auto mechanic.  When Khang was five years old, Lee began teaching her to play the game he loved; she qualified for the 2012 U.S. Women's Open at the age of 14. Khang credits her father with having the most influence on her career. She earned LPGA membership in the 2016 season and qualified for the 2019, 2021 and 2023 Solheim Cup teams. She finished fifth at the 2020 U.S. Women's Open.
