Developing Long-Term Client Relationships
FM Global uses a simple process that revolves around not just clients, but the relationships we develop and maintain with those clients. Our goal is to create partnerships that are face-to-face, personal and long-term, and foster ongoing dialogue that leads to customized services and effective deployment of our commercial insurance products.
Moreover, we go beyond the traditional transactional approach to insurance product and service delivery. Our coverage is based on the realities of our clients' individual risks, rather than actuarial assessments. We conduct hands-on research and deploy on-the-ground engineers and claims personnel to help clients overcome new risk management challenges, and accommodate all their property insurance and protection needs.
Uniquely Focused on Our Clients
The Plan
To ensure we are efficiently deploying our products and services in support of your goals and objectives annually, we work with you to jointly develop a mutually agreed-upon Client Service Plan, which includes documented objectives, action items, and allocated responsibilities and due dates.
The Execution
The Plan is carried out on multiple fronts, at multiple locations, and in multiple countries. We believe that effective execution is based upon effective communication. We work together to ensure the Client Service Plan is clearly communicated within both organizations so all interactions and actions are as effective as possible.
The Review
With all the key players present, we review progress against the Client Services Plan in a formal and comprehensive Stewardship Report. We also use this time to review what worked well, what didn't, and begin to formulate The Plan for the coming year.
The Proposal
We present a Renewal Proposal confirming the proposed insurance terms and conditions, including a draft of both your Client Service Plan and your Policy Document for the coming year.
Uniquely Driven by Engineering
At the core of our unique client focus is our risk evaluation field engineering. Our specially trained property conservation and machinery maintenance engineers conduct site evaluations of the construction, occupancy, protection and exposure details of your facilities, as well as explore your hazard management programs, to identify any human factor issues that may impact your property loss-prevention/control program.
Following your on-site risk evaluation, your engineer will provide an FM Global Risk Report—a detailed explanation of the exposures that could cause property loss, replacement costs, as well as cost-effective recommendations to mitigate risk. To download a sample risk report, click here.
