Commercial Property Insurer FM Global Ranked Number One in the United Kingdom for Quality Cover, Claims Handling and Documentation by Strategic RISK Magazine

WINDSOR, UK—FM Global, one of the world’s largest commercial property insurers, has been ranked number one for quality of cover, claims handling and documentation in a newly released study of risk and insurance managers from major companies across the UK. The research was conducted by Strategic RISK magazine, a leading European industry publication with more than 11,000 readers.

According to the magazine “FM Global came in first place” with a score of 90 percent for “quality of cover” and 84 percent for “speed and accuracy of documentation.” The magazine also noted that “FM Global again led the pack” for “speed and fairness of claims handling” with a score of 89 percent.

Strategic RISK magazine’s study examined the role of today’s risk management professionals by surveying risk managers within UK businesses. Respondents were given a list of commercial insurers, who provide products and services in the UK and were asked to rate those they had worked with in the past year, in a number of categories.
